Welcome to Triangle South Wrestling Club
My name is Butch Sadler. I was born in southern NJ and moved to Garner, NC in the 5th grade. I had wrestled 2 years in the Southern Regional Rams kids’ program prior to moving south. I struggled to find a consistent, local area youth wrestling program throughout my school years, but was lucky to attend NCSU camps and learn a great deal from past coaches, the late Jerry Daniels and Bob Guzzo. I was a state runner-up my senior year at Garner Sr. High and went on to compete at Pembroke State. Unfortunately, knee injuries cut my competitive career short, but did not dent my passion for the sport.
After graduating college, I began my coaching career- reviving the Tarboro HS program, and helping create their middle school program, as well. The Tar River WC, established with the late Lorenzo Carmen (ASU 83), still operates today. I moved back to Wake County to take over the program at Wake Forest-Rolesville HS and then Fuquay-Varina HS.
I was out of the sport for around a decade, but I have collected a great staff to help your young wrestler learn, grow, and achieve. I have personally coached and known every club coach for years and am excited to start training with you!
See more about the coaches below.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you on the mats!
